Tempo returns to Trinidad cable TV
The Caribbean entertainment channel is back now and will re-launch on April 1 on Channel 20.“Having expanded to the US and Latin America, it is great to be back in Trinidad on Flow”, said Frederick A.Morton, Founder, Chairman and CEO, TEMPO Networks. “Trinidad, as a leader in brand Caribbean, can now fully engage in the expansion of the region’s culture as TEMPO flows worldwide.” he said.
First launched by MTV Networks in 2005, TEMPO was subsequently acquired by Morton from Viacom, MTV’s corporate parent in 2007 and moved to its corporate headquarters in 2008, across the Hudson River to its current home in Newark, NJ. TEMPO is currently broadcasted to approximately 3.5 million viewers throughout the Caribbean and recently launched in the US making the channel available to roughly three million cable customers in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut tri-state area.
TEMPO is also re-launching on Flow systems in Grenada.
